There is no central resourcing pool here. You sit with the people holding the appointment, in the office nearest the site, and you see a scheme from first estimate to final account.
Mixed teams by default
Cost managers, project managers, building surveyors and safety advisers work on the same appointments. You learn the parts of a project that are normally somebody else’s department.
Client contact early
Site visits, valuations, condition surveys and design-team meetings from the start, with a director accountable for the advice that leaves the office.
Routes to chartership
Several directors hold RICS and APM qualifications and support colleagues through assessment using the projects they are already working on.
